Prof. Li Niu
Winner of national Outstanding Youth Fund, Leading Talents of 10,000 Talents Plan of Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Hundred Talents Plan of Chinese Academy of Sciences, "Young and Middle-aged Leading Talents in Scientific and Technological Innovation" of Ministry of Science and Technology, winner of Special Allowance of The State Council, part-time professor of ABO University of Science and Technology of Finland. His research interests include chemical sensing analysis, material electrochemistry, spectral electrochemistry and analytical instrumentation design. Design synthesis of a variety of new based on carbon nanotubes, ionic liquid, metal nanoparticles and conductive polymer as the main body of the nano structure materials, water for environment and public security and other fields to develop a variety of chemical sensors, electrical analysis combined with electrical engineering and software engineering technology, developed a variety of new analysis detection/monitoring instruments and equipment. In recent years has been in j. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Anal. Chem., such as domestic and foreign core journals published more than 200 research papers, he led more than 9000 times, more than 40 national invention patents application and authorization. He has delivered conference reports and invited reports for more than 50 times in academic conferences at home and abroad. He has undertaken a number of scientific research projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and local areas.

Jian Yao is a professor and doctoral supervisor of The School of Remote Sensing And Information Engineering, Wuhan University. Adjunct Professor of University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xiamen University, Visiting Professor of Golle University, Thailand, responsible person of Computer Vision and Remote Sensing Lab (WHU-CVRS Lab) of Wuhan University, Director of 3D Big Data Artificial Intelligence Innovation Research Center of Wuhan University, current Council member of Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence, China computer society (CCF) learn professional committee of computer vision, image and graphics society of imaging detection and perception of committee member, society of image and graphics machine vision committee member, society of image and graphics three-dimensional visual special committee member, China surveying and mapping institute of big data and the artificial intelligence work committee. In April 2012, he joined the school of Remote Sensing And Information Engineering of Wuhan University as the academic leader and has been teaching since then. Prof. Daowen Qiu

He has published over 130 papers in peer-review journals, and over 25 conferences papers. More specifically, (1) He has systematically studied a number of different QFA (quantum finite automata) models, and solved the decidability of equivalence and minimization of these QFA models. In particular, we have answered the problems of how to minimize QFAs proposed by Moore and Crutchfield. Also, he has studied some properties of 2QFAC, quantum pushdown automata, and quantum Turing machines. (2) He has proved the characterization of all Boolean functions that can be solved by quantum 1-query algorithm. (3) He has studied quantum states discrimination and quantum cloning machines, and he has derived some bounds on unambiguous discrimination and minimum-error discrimination (some bounds are optimal to a certain extent), and some relationships between unambiguous discrimination and minimum-error discrimination have been clarified. Also, he has established a generic machine model of probabilistic cloning and deleting, and proposed a universal probabilistic deleting machine. (4) He has studied quantum teleportation and superdence coding based on different entangled states (W-states). (5) He has studied semi-quantum cryptography and proved that a semi-quantum key distribution protocol is unconditional security. (6) He has discovered some essential connections between quantum logic and models of computation, and he has established residuated lattice-valued automata theory. (7) He has established a fundamental framework of the supervisory control for fuzzy discrete event systems (FDES).

He is also an In-Charge for the Center of Excellence in Algorithms, an IBM Certified Cybersecurity Analyst. He did PhD, M.E (CSE) and B.Tech (IT) in Computer Science and Engineering at Anna University, Chennai. He has more than 15 years of teaching and industrial experience that was recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai. He has published 50 research articles in various International Journals. Julien Le Kernec received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electronic engineering from the Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland, respectively, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from University Pierre and Marie Curie, France, in 2011. He held a post-doctoral position with the Kuang-Chi Institute of Advanced Technology, Shenzhen, China, from 2011 to 2012. He was a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, from 2012 to 2016. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the School of Engineering in the Autonomous Systems & Connectivity Group, University of Glasgow. He is also an adjunct associate professor in University Cergy-Pontoise in France in the ETIS (Information and Signal Processing group). His research interests include radar system design, software defined radio/radar, signal processing, and health applications.

Pavel Loskot joined the ZJU-UIUC Institute in January 2021 as the Associate Professor after being nearly 14 years with Swansea University in the UK. He received his PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta in Canada, and the MSc and BSc degrees in Radioelectronics and Biomedical Electronics, respectively, from the Czech Technical University of Prague in the Czech Republic. He is the Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and the Recognized Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. His current research interest focuses on problems involving statistical signal processing and importing methods from Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science to other disciplines in order to improve the efficiency and the information power of system modeling and analysis.
